Why Patients Need You

We expect our sales team to be experts on our product lines and the conditions the drugs have been developed to treat. As Hong Kong Trainer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of evolved and enhanced learning experiences for Pfizer customer facing colleagues ( Product Training, Selling Skills, and approved digital platforms )  to create and sustain a competitive advantage for Pfizer.  You will also collaborate with their Digital Client Partner and APAC PLA Delivery Lead to effectively engage with Business Unit clients to define and deliver learning initiatives that have quantifiable value and impact.

What You Will Achieve

You will provide support to sales representatives (sales staff and sales management) and channel partners by developing, planning, and conducting training on techniques of selling the organization's products and services. You will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that focus on sales techniques and presentations, product information, group referencing and role play. You may also work with different stakeholders such as Product Managers or marketing teams to help develop sales strategy and incorporate this into local training programs aligned with regional and global initiatives.

How You Will Achieve It

  • ngage key stakeholders in responsible market including Country Manager, Category Lead, Digital client partner, People Experience, etc to provide consultation for organizational learning strategy and priorities
  • Lead the development of market training plan ensuring business requirements are met through development and execution of customer facing training services that are efficient and valued in alignment with Go To Market Excellence
  • Delivery of in-scope training programs, projects and initiatives that addresses market needs and commercial priorities. Master the application of multiple delivery modalities to effectively deliver training programs that address identified capability needs within budget. 
  • Drive the change management of Pfizer ecosystems (tools and processes) to EM standards in conjunction with the Category Lead and other CLT stakeholders.
  • Make use of training  evaluation tools  and partner with the business to discuss training metrics, outcomes and generate insights for continuous improvement. 
  • Collect and provide country specific learnings and performance metrics that support continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in Cantonese & English communication/written skills
  • A recognized Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years' pharma experience; people leadership skills / experience with evidence of high emotional intelligence would be an advantage
  • Commercial training experience including delivery of blended and distance learning curricula and content is essential
  • Understanding of the pharma industry
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities 
  • Cross-functional working experience and collaboration
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze information, ability to synthesize problems and develop innovative solutions and strategies
  • Nice to have prior sales or sales management experiences
