The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse that provides different types of information to users and applications to support the company in its digital transformation roadmap. This candidate will work with key users and data specialists to deliver platforms and solutions that can enable our management to get insight into business opportunities and formulate timely actionable plans. The successful candidate must stay current to the latest big data technologies especially the major Cloud platform Microsoft Azure.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Support the Data Warehouse on Microsoft Synapse SQL pool and optimize the performance of the platform.
- Build and support data pipelines to extract data from variety of data sources (relational databases of transactional systems and cloud data sources) to Data Warehouse.
- Work with external vendors and partner technologies including (but not limited to) Microsoft Azure.
Our requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields
- Solid experience with Azure Synapse Pipeline or Azure Data Factory
- Sound knowledge of Transact SQL and Spark/PySpark
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
