SUMMARY OF POSITION

This position will provide service support to JLG customers, including operation, inspection, troubleshooting and training.  Consults and advises customer on best practice operational and fleet maintenance techniques. This position is responsible for spare parts sales in the assigned area. Service Engineer are required to perform in a professional manner to work with service dealer to provide customers with the highest possible level of service.

QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, certifications, skills)

  • Diploma degree and 8 years of related experience in the assembly, diagnostics and repair of mobile hydraulic equipment, boom lifts, and/or cranes.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as necessary and required.
  • High stability and hard-working

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offer field technical support, including onsite troubleshooting, customer visit, field survey and New Machine Inspection assistance.
  • Handle the field quality issue for JLG products and provide the service solution according to JLG quality reporting process.
  • Provide Operator & Safety training and technical training, such as ADE system and analyzer.
  • Prepare precise, timely and informative service reports.
  • Work directly with customer Service Managers and aftermarket professionals to provide consultation in the areas of proper fleet maintenance, service parts, inventory control and human capital resource management.
  • Provide assistance to new customers upon machine delivery to ensure that customers are aware of safe operating practices.
  • Perform the assigned duties and responsibilities by the company and coordinate with other employees proactively if necessary.
  • Responsible for spare parts sales in assigned area.
  • Work with Service dealer to provide professional service to JLG customers.
