About the Role
Responsible for providing financial projections and business insights and monitoring solvency risk and positionRoles and Responsibilities:
- Support production in regular capital reporting and valuations on Economic Capital and Bermuda Capital Solvency Requirement.
- Conduct valuation analysis based on actuarial guidelines and principles
- Execute reporting process enhancement to improve efficiency and analytical capacities
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
- University / College graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics or related subject with at least 2 years’ experience in life insurance industry.
- Good progress in Actuarial professional examination
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to deal with and handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge in insurance product and corporate actuarial work. Experience and knowledge in economic capital / HKRBC / IFRS 17 basis is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. VBA), Actuarial Software, e.g. Prophet is an advantage
