The Delegate Sales Manager will be responsible for selling delegate passes to a range of Risk Global’s conferences and training courses in Asia. They will work closely with the Asia Commercial Director, Asia Marketing Director and Asia Managing Director to gain an understanding of the delegate sales approach and the financial markets we operate in, and to maximise delegate sales revenue for all of their allocated events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving individual sales targets
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners
- Using the best telephone selling skills required to achieve sales
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Providing regular sales reports and analysis to senior management
- Monitoring and recording all relevant sales information in our CRM database
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and market changes to inform sales strategies
- Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to support revenue growth and product growth
- Proven track record of success in delegate sales, media sales, or subscription sales
- An understanding of delegate sales process, preferably in financial markets
- Proven commercial experience and strategic mind-set (strong business / commercial acumen as well as analytical capabilities)
- Confidence and the ability to engage with clients and colleagues, forming effective relationships
- Excellent telephone selling skills combined with an ability to represent the brand and business externally, with high levels of client interaction
