You can expect: Competitive Salary and non-contributory pension 20 days annual leave plus generous number of public holidays Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family A range of flexible benefits including retail discounts, gym benefits, wellbeing incentives The opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR program plus take volunteering leave days        Your key responsibilities: Lead new transactions across all Corporate Trust products from start to closing, review and negotiate documents and structures and liaise with market counterparties and internal teams to close transactions.  Draft notices or letters in line with the relevant Bank and market standards for both new and existing transactions. Manage a portfolio of defaulted and distressed deals as well as facilitate clients' restructuring and workout situations. Arrange and attend to bondholder/lender meetings.  Coordinate with various parties to protect and enforce the bank’s rights in its trustee and agency capacities. Work closely with business senior management on risk mitigation, product, restructurings, defaults, clients relationship and new business and liaise with clients, lawyers, financial advisers, bondholders/lenders on transaction specific matters. Liaison with issuers/borrowers and bondholders/lenders to deal with waivers, consent solicitation and restructurings with documentation amendments as required.  Troubleshoot any issues that may arise for transactions post closing. Relationship management and development with both internal and external clients, and all major control groups such as Legal, Tax, Compliance and Operations for ongoing transaction management purposes. Providing guidance and supervision to other team members on legal documentation, transaction structure and mechanics. Work with internal and external parties locally and globally on projects, regulatory developments and product development. Assist the preparation / reconciliation of management / MIS reports and handling of control / compliance matters in accordance with regulatory requirements Your skills and experience: A minimum of 5-8 years experience in banking, capital markets and /or corporate trust experience. Candidates with strong legal and transaction management background, and solid debt capital market and banking product experience will be highly regarded. At least 3-5 years in a similar role with previous experience (in the area of banking, REITs, structured finance or capital markets) and working on defaults and distressed transactions, plus documentation review and negotiation experience. Very strong analytical and problem solving skills. Detail-oriented, diligent, strong team-player and ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal and document negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Chinese) with proficiency in Putonghua.. Each situation is unique and requires fresh thinking. Role is required to be performed primarily on-site at the International Commerce Centre.
