Position Summary
Hex Trust is looking to bring on a highly motivated operations expert with experience in crypto traditional finance operations and middle office functions, who is eager to transition and expand their expertise within the fast-paced and evolving cryptocurrency brokerage sector. The role demands a candidate who can merge conventional financial operations knowledge with the nuances of the crypto market, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee transaction processing, reconciliation, and settlement for both crypto and traditional financial instruments.
- Facilitate the smooth transition of clients from traditional finance to crypto asset trading with comprehensive operational support.
- Engage in client onboarding, conduct thorough KYC and AML due diligence in compliance with crypto-specific regulatory standards.
- Handle client queries and resolve account issues, drawing on experience from traditional finance customer service.
- Work closely with compliance to adapt and enforce traditional financial regulations within the crypto trading framework.
- Update and maintain operational procedures and documentation, incorporating best practices from traditional finance.
- Liaise with external partners, including banks and financial institutions, to ensure seamless integration of services.
- Participate in projects to improve operational efficiency and the client experience, leveraging knowledge from a traditional finance background.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in operations or middle office roles within the traditional finance sector.
- Demonstrated interest in or basic understanding of cryptocurrency and digital assets.
- Strong operational and compliance foundation with an ability to adapt to the crypto environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a high-volume trading setting.
- Effective communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex concepts to different business lines
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience with crypto brokerage platforms or digital asset management.
- Knowledge of international finance regulations and their application to the cryptocurrency space.
